At Hilti India, we are looking for an experienced Social Media manager to play an integral role in acceleration of our digital transformation journey. You must have experience in community management, organic social media growth and leveraging paid media to acceleration social media engagement.

What does the role involve?


  • Build a strong social media presence and grow our brand presence across India by focusing on right target groups (e.g., purchasers, managing Directors, site managers, plant managers, contractors, specifiers etc.).
  • Close cooperation with Marketing Director, Head - Digital and Brand & HUB Digital Marketing (Singapore) to define clear engagement strategy on social media.
  • Work closely with local teams (Content development, Product, engineering, HR, Brand & events etc.) to execute the aligned roadmap. Build creative, impactful stories/reels with employees for social media to increase channel engagement.
  • Community management, social listening, sentiment mapping using tools like Sprinklr.
  • Design monthly calendars, campaigns and own the end-to-end execution of the plan.
  • Be innovative and generate ideas to accelerate community growth and engagement through personalized and social media content.
  • Continuously measure the progress of the metrics & various campaign successes.
  • Build strong online communities, both in-house and external.
  • Develop bimonthly report social media engagement, new trends in social media to show case the rising SM impact on brand building and its impact on the business.
  • Work with Performance Manager to define, track and measure performance metrices so that the value of investing in Social Channels can be assessed.
  • Manage relationships with agencies / partners / vendors to co-create the best content for the business.
  • Observe relevant competitive activities and identification of "best practices" in related industrial sectors.

What you need is:

  • Demonstrated project management skills; understand how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders with multi-tasking approach. Team lead experience required.
  • Be pragmatic & collaborative in your work approach- Results matter for us & so does your ability to take everyone along in the journey.
  • Leading from the front & passion for social media.
  • Proactiveness in alignment with stakeholders and getting the job done.
  • You should be innovative, and you should know how to unite people around your ideas.
  • Good presentation skills and appetite for data to drive data driven decision.
  • Ability and experience in assisting and coordinating for - Photo & Video editing and graphic design deliverables.
Work experience-
  • 5-6 years of experience in social media role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat with proven experience in brand building, community growth and engagement.
  • Experience in the B2B marketing space will be a big plus.
  • Relevant degree - Mass Media, Communications or Advertising
  • Experience in Big B2B multinationals, Big Agencies OR Media houses (WPP, Merkle etc.) will be a big plus).
  • Experience in Agency in managing social media accounts of big brands will be a big plus.
