What's the role?

The Hilti Foundation is looking for a motivated and creative Content Creator Intern to support its communications and public relations activities. As an intern, you will work closely with the communications team to develop and distribute engaging content across multiple platforms. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to apply and develop your creativity in creating content and exploring how to communicate the mission through multiple channels.
Ideal start date is May, with flexibility based on student availability, for at least 3 months (preferably 6+ months)

What does the role involve?

As an intern in our department, you’ll be part of the Hilti Foundation Communications team. You’ll work closely with our experts to develop engaging content.

Your key responsibilities will be:
Content Development: Assist in the creation and development of compelling written, visual, and multimedia content for the foundations' websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.

Social Media & Channel Management: Collaborate with the communications team to plan and execute digital communications campaigns, including content scheduling, community engagement, and performance analysis.

Research and Writing: Conduct research on relevant topics, trends, and industry best practices to support content creation. Write engaging articles, blog posts, and press releases that effectively communicate the foundations' activities and impact.

Content Curation: Monitor and curate relevant content from external sources to share with the Foundation's stakeholders and followers.

Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including agencies, freelancers, and partner organizations, to gather information and coordinate content creation efforts and events.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content creation, social media, and digital marketing.

What you need is:

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's/Master's program in communications, marketing, journalism, media studies, or a related field for the entire internship period.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a good command of English. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools and software, including graphic design, photo editing, and video editing applications.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, content management systems, and basic web editing.
  • Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the foundations' content reflects their values and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ideas into engaging content.
