What's the role?

You are part of a cross functional project team developing highly differentiated anchoring systems and defining technology roadmaps. Your role is to lead an international and interdisciplinary team, taking responsibility for technical concepts and their implementation, starting from the initial idea up to series implementation.
Also, you shape the technology roadmap and implementation strategy by working closely with our end-customers on site to develop a realistic understanding of their needs.

What does the role involve?

You develop inovative and high performing anchoring systems. Step into the shoes of our end-customers and scout new ways to make our products more efficient and their lifes easier by focising on improvements such as ergonomics, usability, and productivity. Build a technology strategy and a product roadmap to generate substantial results. Set up, motivate, lead, steer and support your technical team throughout the entire development process. Work closely with the internal/external partners and key stakeholders. Assess the technical maturity and the associated risk profile of different solutions. Bring in proactivity mind set hands-on mentality as well as a “can do, will do” attitude to achieve outstanding results together with your team.

What you need is:

  • Completed university degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study, PhD or comparabel professional experience
  • Proven professional expertise in a development department and initial detailed know-how in the technical management of projects or team lead in development
  • Demonstrated track record of products/hardware and technology strategy development
  • Creativity and openness to new technologies
  • Strong interpersonal skills to successfully perform in a global matrix environment with a target oriented, proactive, and hands-on mentality
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, German is a plus
