What's the role?
In this position, you will be part of an international team, embedded in an agile development set-up in our software development center. Your will responsible for shaping the future of Hilti CrewCenter solution and lead its Android application development.

What does the role involve?
- You will drive evolution of Hilti CrewCenter solution, contributing with your broad experience and high level of expertise in the software development field
- You will work closely with Product Owners, UX Designers and Architects to refine product backlog and jointly translate defined requirements into technical solutions
- As part of a cross-functional Scrum team, you will lead development, testing and maintenance of CrewCenter Android application
- Within a group of Android developers, you will lead code reviews and establish guidelines, focusing on quality, automation and maintainability
- You will use your expertise to coach and mentor other Android developers in their daily work
- You will travel to our software competence centers located in Germany, India and Malaysia.

What you need is:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 7 as Android application developer.
- Profound knowledge of Android SDK. Experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Room DB.
- Knowledge of mobile design principles and interface guidelines. Experience with custom UI components.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs. Knowledge of GraphQL is an added advantage.
- Ability to lead and define the technical strategy in areas like architecture, testing, performance, CI/CD.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring software engineers.
- Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills. Willingness to embrace change & new technologies.
- Proficiency in English and willingness to travel internationally.
