Sr. Digital Marketing Manager

We are revolutionizing the future of digital at Hilti and are looking for enthusiatic Sr. Digital Marketing Manager to play an integral part in our digital transformation journey. As a Sr. Digital Marketing Manager, you will work in a global, collaborative, fun, and agile work environment; you will help our development team with application build system, deployment and network operations.

What does the role involve?
Lead the internal marketing/communications program across the digital marketing group, within the larger digital marketing and sales organization.
Develop overarching content strategy, editorial calendar, channel and format selection for internal communications relating to our global digital marketing team.
Develop and/or edit core digital marketing teams’ content.
Collaborate across cross-functional teams within Digital Marketing (Engagement marketing, digital platforms, analytics, customer experience, lead market organization) to gather topics, align content development, help prioritize, and execute key communication objectives
Work with Global Brand team in aligning content and storyline for the larger M&S team, including topics, release timelines, formats and channels.
Lead development of a wide range of content such as video, blogs, newsletters, webinars, landing pages and more
Development and management of editorial calendar and organization workflow
Develop marketing materials targeting Hilti’s market organizations for new features, functionalities and/or offerings the Digital Marketing team releases to drive regional market adoption, use and measurement.
Develop ideas and concepts, write, and edit short-form and long-form content assets from start to finish
Manage and communicate editorial calendar on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
Partner with internal and external resources for design and content production
Measure and optimize program on a regular and ongoing basis
Monitor performance of content across Hilti’s different channels; maintain a set of ongoing metrics and reports
Apply and maintain consistency with Hilti brand voice

What you need is:
Bachelors’ degree in Marketing Communications, Journalism, or related disciplinary required or equivalent work experience, required
Minimum five (5) years’ proven experience as a marketing content producer required; architecture, engineering, or construction industry strongly preferred
Experience in a global corporation and collaborating across multiple teams, in various time zones.
Experience writing across several media channels and audiences
Experience in the B2B marketing space; understands digital marketing, content marketing, and sales enablement
Proven ability to develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure content engagement success; experience writing high quality and, occasionally, technical content of different lengths (e.g., Website, social and blog posts, reports, eBooks)
Portfolio of work that demonstrates versatility across multiple formats (web, social media, email, collateral, video, etc.)
Strong knowledge of modern marketing frameworks (i.e.: WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager) marketing automation software (Hybris, Marketo, Eloqua, etc.), and top social channels
Brand publisher mindset; ability to create content to attract, acquire, and engage target audiences to optimize the path to conversion
Editorial requirements include SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement; understand what audiences consume and how to create it
Ability to analyze and present content and social performance
Demonstrated project management skills; understand how to manage the priorities of multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment, while focusing on delivery of results: engagement, leads, and sales
Normal office conditions.
Minimum 25% travel domestic and international, required.
