Rental Account Manager
What's the role?
The Rental Account Manager is responsible for generating sales to targeted rental customers in assigned geography.

What does the role involve?
Increase revenue by selling, servicing, and promoting the full Hilti product line directly to the targeted rental accounts.
Develop sales by providing training to rental account personnel.
Develop and maintain action plans for targeted key rental accounts.
Identify, develop and maintain rapport with decision-makers in identified key accounts including but not limited to branch managers, district managers, service managers and fleet managers.
Originate and maintain customer and prospect records in the laptop computer.
Conduct product and safety seminars with the primary purpose of increasing sales and product approvals/specifications.
Attend industry and customer specific trade shows as required.
Responsible for achieving a sales forecast by selling and servicing product lines to the customer and prospects to attain company sales objectives on a consistent and profitable basis, strengthening the company’s position or market share within the marketplace.
Develop and promote positive customer relations to achieve forecast.
Plan and employ an organized time and territory management system to ensure effective, efficient market penetration through the use of the Hilti CRM 7 laptop computer system.
Organize and maintain a thorough record keeping system to satisfy the position’s administrative requirements.
Identify and feedback specifics on rental industry trends and customer application opportunities.
Work with Rental BDM’s, other RAM’s and Rental personnel on developing High, Wide and Deep relationships with the assigned key accounts.

Day to day you’ll report to your regional sales manager, who will also be there to help you manage your career

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred, MBA a plus
- Exceptional Sales and Key Account development skills
- Strong customer orientation
- Prior rental experience strongly preferred
- No more than two companies in last five years
- Proven work experience with increased responsibility
- Able to lift equipment that could weigh as much as 65 pounds.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office applications.
- Valid driver’s license
A company vehicle is provided for carrying tools/fasteners for product demonstration purposes. Employee must have a valid US driver’s license, ability to operate a motor vehicle, and comply with HNA Fleet Safety Policy requirements.
