Payroll Processor - Tulsa, OK
What's the role?
The Payroll Processor ensures accurate processing and recording of company payrolls, provides timely and accurate information, participates in daily data entry payroll processing, and reviews assigned reports. This role will complete gross to net calculations in both US & Canada, this includes taxes and benefits deductions.

What does the role involve?
Perform daily payroll department operations, including responding to payroll email inbox requests within 24 hours.
Requests may be from individual team members or different departments requesting various data reports
Load files to various systems and service providers
Manage workflows to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Review exception reports generated during payroll processing for completeness and accuracy of data submitted to ADP for processing
Calculate new hire pay, termination pay, and any required adjustments to normal pay
Prepare and process garnishments
Ensure payroll is properly computed, recorded, and disbursed in a timely manner
Reconcile payroll records prior to finalizing payroll run
Generates off cycles runs and on demand runs, as needed
Submit required documentation to treasury, banks, service providers, and internal teams, as assigned
Research and resolve payroll questions from managers, agencies, and employees, including but not limited to paid
time off, banking, garnishments, employment verifications, retroactive pay calculations, tax questions, and other payroll changes
Provide support on special projects, as assigned by management
Execute timely, corrective action as necessary and in accordance with company policy if an error or discrepancy is discovered (ex. Overuse of vacation, final payments after termination, etc)
Recommend process changes to payroll processes and procedures to manager

What you need is:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent working experience, required
- Minimum five (5) years prior payroll processing experience, required
- Experience in a multi‐state/multi‐national payroll environment, required
- Demonstrated experience in Workday and ADP payroll systems
- Knowledge of payroll policies and procedures and knowledge of taxes, laws, and regulations pertaining to payroll
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties
- Demonstrated experience with PC software applications, including Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc)
- Ability to organize and plan multiple activities which require close attention to detail
- Able to handle highly confidential information; strict confidentiality is a must
