What does the role involve?
IT internships are available within eB2B, Infrastructure or Workplace. Below is a description of the three potential roles.
eB2B Project Manager: An eB2B Project Manager delivers integration projects to streamline customer procurement processes. You will translate business requirements into effective solutions and provide technical support for implementations. You will identify new implementation opportunities, analyze business processes, define project requirements and lead collaboration with project stakeholders. Your role is to drive innovation and optimize our existing processes and solutions to accommodate new business scenarios. This role will provide exposure to our SAP system, SAP iDoc structure, EDI processing, and Project Management.
IT Infrastructure Project Manager: An IT Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for staying abreast of IT infrastructure technology, processes, and trends. You will assist in supporting Hilti’s core IT infrastructure that supports our business partners’ day-to-day operations – coordinating large scale projects that require cross-collaboration between many different teams within IT and business units. This role will provide exposure to Networking, VMware, Windows Server, Cloud and Project Management.
IT Workplace Project Manager: An IT Workplace Project Manager is responsible for exploring the latest trends in workplace collaboration tools and translate that into business value. Influence how we work at Hilti by leading collaboration, messaging, and core infrastructure services. Implement and roll out new technology and services, find innovations, and continuously improve our IT services.
This role will provide exposure to Microsoft Office 365, Cloud, Social Collaboration tools and Project Management.

What you need is:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Engineering (CE), Computer Science (CS), Mathematics or a related field
- GPA of 3.0 or above required
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Results driven and proactive, able to achieve targets
- Strong analytical skills, creative, innovative, and open-minded
- Able to work in a culturally diverse team
- Eligible to work in the US permanently without sponsorship
