Inventory Specialist - Irving, TX
What's the role?
Focal point for communication (phone or email) with internal customers, repair billing, and credit status, and all data entry activities within the repair process.
Monitors and coordinates the paperwork flow within the tool service operation to support the efficiency of the tool services team. Maintains inventory of Service Center supplies, office appearance, and focus on safety.

What does the role involve?
Enter repair orders, update and correct pre-entered orders, and maintain repair history files
Determine warranty and customer chargeable status on received tools
Confirm account credit status prior to repairs being performed
Perform direct liaison support with Credit Department
Handle proof of delivery requests
Inventory, forecast, and track service center supplies
Perform data entry for inventory replenishment orders, notices to transfer, and material requests
Review stock status system and inventory balance for adjustments by Manager
Maintain work areas and assigned equipment in a proper, organized order thus enabling the incumbent to perform the job in a timely, safe, and efficient manner
Initiate, respond, and direct telephone communication for service center
Assist in computer training for other service center employees
Live and promote a cohesive team-oriented environment
Follow company policies, procedures, and rules
Follow and abide to the company’s culture, values, and principles
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor

What you need is:
High School Diploma or GED required
Experience as an SAP user preferred
Experience using Windows applications preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, good phone skills required
Must be able to handle a large volume of work and multiple priorities
Must possess good attention to detail and have the ability to meet deadlines
Ability to learn quickly and operate effectively in a rapidly changing environment
Workshop environment subject to heat, cold, dust, and other particles
