What's the role?
The Home Depot Rental Account Manager serves as a direct link to the Home Depot Rental account and is responsible for generating sales in the assigned geography.

What does the role involve?
Increase sales by selling, servicing, and promoting Hilti product by and utilizing the monthly velocity report to identify trends and sales gaps
Develop sales by providing training to Home Depot rental associates
Identify, develop, and maintain rapport with decision makers within Home Depot
Demonstrate consultative selling; convince customers that they have a need for a product or service
Responsible for a sales forecast by servicing and selling product lines to the customer to consistently attain company sales objectives on a profitable basis and strengthen market share in the marketplace
Develop and promote positive customer relationships to achieve forecast
Plan and employ organized time and territory management system to ensure effectiveness, efficient market penetration using CRM7
Using Time and Territory Management (TTM), zone territory by customer potential and previous sales, create/own daily schedule, and utilize sales productivity tools
Organize and maintain accurate record keeping system to satisfy administrative requirements
Maintain all company property, including but not limited to: company vehicle, laptop, cell phone and inventory to minimize profit/loss due to damage or loss of inventory
Utilize VIP strategy to grow relationships and build network at high levels in Home Depot Tool Rental (HDTR)

Day to day you’ll report to your regional sales manager, who will also be there to help you manage your career.

What you need is:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- One-year prior experience in customer service and/or sales working directly with customers preferred (either over phone or face-to-face)
- Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and smartphones
- Valid Driver’s License
- Strong customer orientation
- Excellent time and territory management skills
- Ability to present in front of large groups of customers
Up to 50% domestic travel within assigned territory, required.
A company vehicle is provided for carrying tools/fasteners for product demonstration purposes. Employee must have a valid US driver’s license, ability to operate a motor vehicle, and comply with HNA Fleet Safety Policy requirements.
