What's the role?

We're looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) in the area of Fire Safety to join our high-performing Global Software team! In this team, you will be the subject matter expert in a field that is core for the software products to be developed.

What does the role involve?

Utilizing your deep technical knowledge, the TPM plays an essential part in software development, maintenance, support and training processes.

Day-to-day, you will:

Serve as the organizational ambassador for your knowledge area and apply your expertise to support fire safety software product vision and strategic direction.
Participate actively in all phases of the software development life cycle, providing guidance on your area of technical expertise.
Serve as a definitive source of knowledge, technique, or expertise in the field of fire protection and ideally also in relation to relevant 3rd party software such as Revit.
Supports product manager, product owner and software architect with specific engineering knowledge to help ensure adherence to engineering, code, and regulatory requirements and acceptance criteria
Writes and contributes to white-papers, papers in conference proceedings, newsletter articles, magazine articles, or books.

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Fire Engineering, or Mech/Structural Engineering/Architecture with experience in fire protection topics
  • 5+ years as Fire Engineer or Mech/Structural Engineering/Architecture exposed to Fire Protection/Engineering related topics
  • Knowledge of construction industry codes and regulations in the field of fire protection
  • Solid understanding of the architecture, engineering, construction industry BIM software landscape
  • Excellent communication ability to summarize and present complex topics in simple and powerful terms to customers, stakeholders and Sr leadership
