Fulfillment & Execution Specialist
What's the role?
The Fulfillment and Execution Specialist (Specials) is responsible for procuring and documenting nonstandard / special product solutions to complement the Hilti Business Unit (BU) Installation product range and align needed product features with the capabilities of the supply network. This can include custom designed products or selecting catalogue items from different approved vendors. The Fulfillment and Execution Specialist works in the PMO to ensure the quality of development specifications and projects. It supports general project business inventory planning. This position communicates with the sales force, all units of the PMO, local & global BUs to understand and supply project business solutions. It is a key role supporting a Hilti global, strategic growth initiative.

What does the role involve?
Serve as liaison to local & global Materials Management to ensure inventory planning fulfills project demand
Support Special Design & Supply by communicating with suppliers and executing engineered specials items
Negotiate boundary conditions such as timing, cost, quality, and technical performance with suppliers
Collaborate with the Specials Design & Supply to identify, select, and develop a supply chain setup for sourced products
Calculate Pricing (SPC) and work with the finance team to ensure SPC calculations are accurate and captured for all special items
Work with materials management (local & HQ) and PMO to ensure on time, on cost, and quality project delivery
Open item numbers and place orders in SAP based on demand from PMO
Responsible for daily communication to suppliers, including follow up, change orders, etc
Responsible for tracking and communicating delivery of products
Manage and update the local BU Installation Systems Specials Framework working with Specials Design & Supply and local HQ representatives, including: adjusting per demand, discussing content with BU Management and highlighting frequently used items to change their status (e.g. to local standard products)
Track and report local Specials items on quantity, cost, share, and profitability
Monitor local Specials items in our network and maintain/update in SAP
Optimize and maintain PMO processes, including software development and specifications, reporting systems, specifically the Marketing Support Services system (MSS)
Track key supply chain metrics and implement improvement processes
Participate in R&I process for continued improvement of PMO processes

What you need is:
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Administration, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent, required
Three (3) years experience in Logistics/Supply Chain, Sourcing, Product Development, or equivalent, required
Proven project management skills and excellent communication skills both oral and written, required
Experience with manufacturing industry supply chain and technical product development, preferred
Experience with technical product specifications, specifically materials, coatings, and sourcing supply chain, preferred
CPIM APICS, preferred
Knowledge of construction methods and project management practices, including bid processes, change orders, estimating, scheduling, etc. preferred
Leadership skills that can be utilized for field teams and internal functions, as well as customer interaction (via phone, email and occasionally face-to-face)
Strong organizational skills: Must be able to organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, and track successes or lost opportunities and bring this knowledge to future projects
Good computer skills: MS office suite of products, scheduling software (Primavera/MS Project), spreadsheet functions (Excel formulas), etc.; SAP SCM user knowledge
*Preferably, internal candidates will have been in current role for at least 18-24 months
