What does the role involve?

As a Fire Protection Engineer (FPE), you are providing technical support and sound engineering judgments regarding the use of Hilti Firestop products.

You provide technical sales support through telephone and email related business and create engineering judgments for customers to solve field problems. You will also, provide engineering support to the composition of letters regarding the application of Hilti products for external clients and consult with Fire Protection Specialists, supporting them on relevant product information.

You will also research existing fire test data to create engineering judgments/recommendations for field applications that have not been tested and also, complete smaller projects (e.g., presentations, web development, small testing projects, etc.) to help support the activities of Hilti Fire Protection Specialists and sales personnel

What you need is:

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Fire Protection Engineering preferred
  • 2 years’ experience working with blueprints and other construction specifications and documents
  • An agile approach to solving problems
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn and drive to succeed
