What's the role?

The Finance Analyst II will support Finance Business Partner (FBP) team in a growth-oriented environment; is a proactive problem solver and strives to be an integral part of the team and success of Hilti. This role will interact directly with Executive Leaders throughout the Market Organization (MO) to help drive business results.

What does the role involve?

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Challenge and improve current financial analytical processes and models
Partner with FBP to drive the Rolling Forecast (RF) process in partnership with respective directors
Create, maintain, and improve productivity management reporting
Partner with sales leaders on day-to-day details, provide ongoing feedback and insight into decisions
Analyze new business ideas, make analytical judgments, and provide recommendations to drive meaningful change
Provide steering on key financial metrics based on operational and financial insight
Conduct ongoing OPEX reviews with the organization leadership team and business managers
Drive insightful analytics and financial reviews, ‘telling the story’ with organizational leadership
Train the sales force with regard to financial metrics, targets, and current performance
Lead special projects and ad hoc requests as required

What you need is:

  • Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum four years of experience in financial analyses and modeling required
  • Advanced understanding of the Hilti Business model
  • Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office
  • Demonstrated leadership in defining cross functional requirements and leading and delivering on strategic projects
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent business-savvy with a consultative approach; ability to influence and collaborate with senior level leaders across organizational lines
  • Quantitative, structured approach to projects and analysis preferred (e.g., Lean/Six Sigma experience)
  • Advanced level knowledge in SAP, Power BI
