Entry Level Account Manager—University, Nationwide

What does the role involve?
In our Account Manager Development Program, you will complete developmental stages before promoting into an outside sales role. During the 18-24 month program, you’ll participate in sales, product, hands on and industry training curriculum. As you advance in the program you will take part in outside sales training and territory sales coverages, all while be paired with a mentor.
Responsibilities include managing full retail operations such as product placement, full inventory management, expediting customer orders and ensuring full satisfaction to customer accounts. You’ll also sell, service, and promote the entire Hilti product line while building strong partnerships with local Account Managers to serve our customers through face-to-face interactions. We’ll count on you to create innovative ways to drive sales through merchandising, promotion events and product demo efforts.
Working conditions include a combination of retail store, hands-on training exercises, meetings, workshops, and presentations. Occasional travel may be required and could include sales calls to customers’ offices and/or jobsites.

What you need is:
- Graduate between December 2019 and May 2020
- Thrive independently and in a team environment
- Can effectively implement strategic concepts
- Possess excellent time and territory management skills
- Are persuasive, sales-driven, customer-focused, and a team player
- Can build and maintain business relationships
- Demonstrate aptitude of cold-calling skills at customer offices and jobsites
- Must be willing to relocate within 18-24 months
- Working Conditions:
- Jobsite conditions with occasional office environment required, including hands-on training exercises, meetings, workshops, and presentations. Up to 10% domestic travel will be required.
