What does the role involve?
In this role, you are responsible for increasing customer utilization through all forms for e-commerce. The E-Commerce Specialist will provide appropriate service and strong knowledge of Hilti products and buying solutions to customers, ensuring the successful achievement of company objectives and growth within the scope of the assigned customer database.
As an E-Commerce Specialist, you will manage a regional customer base and contact frequency with 250-350 accounts. Present solutions based on customer needs that increase net sales. Uncover needs by utilizing high, deep and wide strategy and grow customer e-commerce utilization. Plan and employ use of SAP/CRM to manage time and database to ensure effective and efficient market coverage and penetration. Effectively utilize database analysis to identify opportunities and develop an effective strategy for account prioritization and prioritization of accounts by opportunity. Present new products, applications and services through the use of Hilti Online. Maintain a high level of recorded sales activity (SALACTs). Develop strong partnerships with field sales, marketing, trade and product management to deepen customer relationships and grow sales. Effectively execute marketing campaigns to grow e-commerce utilization.
What do we offer?
In our Account Manager Development Program, you will complete developmental stages before promoting into an outside sales role. During the 12-18 month program, you’ll participate in a full sales, product, hands on, and industry training curriculum. As you advance in the program you will take part in outside sales training and territory sales coverages, all while being paired with a mentor.

What you need is:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Previous customer service and/or sales skills required
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Drive to develop strong and sustainable customer relationships
- Ability to prioritize and manager time effectively
- Demonstrate team skills and communicate with all internal Hilti team members
- Proficiency in SAP, CRM, Microsoft Office preferred
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment
- Ability to multi-task daily while maintaining high performance standards
- Mobility and desire to develop required
Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time and spend extended amount of time on the phone. Must be able to walk on construction projects, climb scaffolding, and be able to lift and carry as much as 65 pounds. There will also be opportunities for hands-on training exercises, meetings, workshops, and presentations.
