E- Commerce Business Manager
What's the role?
The Manager, E-Business is responsible for growing the North American digital sales and customer base on Hilti’s Web site and Digital Sales Tool. This position owns the online experience for the company’s external and internal customers and for maximizing the impact and effectiveness of digital channels by generating, localizing and optimizing content. The Manager, E-Business also serves to strategize and facilitate global and local marketing campaigns within the digital environment. In addition, the role manages the eBusiness customer operations and support function. The position is also responsible for ongoing eBusiness strategy development backed by a solid fact base supported by ongoing customer sensing.

What does the role involve?
Create and execute comprehensive E-Business operational strategies aligned to strategic objectives within the organization
Work with department management to implement E-Business strategies to ensure that E-Business efforts are optimized
Create performance metrics to measure success and conduct analysis to determine effectiveness, implementing change where needed based on the data
Collaborate with regional and global E-Commerce and IT Teams to support E-Business objectives
Ensure compliance with Brand, Legal, and Regulatory guidelines through Hilti’s approval process
Strategize and facilitate global and local marketing campaigns within the digital environment.
Benchmark performance across channels and advise on KPIs
Analyze the effect of different online and offline channels on each other, making recommendations and implementing innovative strategies for improvement and growth
Manage relationships with external agencies including scheduling, production, and QC
Analyze online user behavior, conversion data, and customer journeys
Perform ROI analysis to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of different web based marketing campaigns
Review and guide the E-Business team to optimize the E-Business customer experience on the site (e.g. landing pages, menu options, navigation etc.) and the end-to-end ordering process (e.g. add-to-cart, check out etc.)
Ensure that Hilti Online maintains high quality by reviewing website content, identifying errors, making changes, and guiding the marketing team to improve their product listings as necessary
Assess the competitive landscape by examining the merchandising strategies of key competitors and online retailers, identifying market trends and best practices that can be applied to our E-Business site
Responsible for team leadership including PMP and SMD discussions and people development

Bachelor’s Degree, required
Minimum five (5) years’ E-Business and operations experience, required to include:
Strong experience and performance record in E-Commerce related businesses
Proven project management skills and strong analytical and conceptual skills
Experience in working in international and matrix environments
Strong track-record as a top-performer who consistently meets and exceeds goals
Experienced in OmniChannel E-Commerce, E-Business, E-Marketing; B2B & B2C
Strong background in sales, marketing, technology, or operations
Passion for E-Commerce business and ambition to grow
Ability to motivate others and drive change across all organizational levels
Knowledge of SAP, SAP Query, Net Weaver BI, and Access, required
Ability to communicate effectively with cross functional team members (local and international) and management at all levels within the organization
Strong knowledge of local and global SAP modules and the ability to identify gaps and provide solutions to local needs through customization or by creating enhancement requests that include cost justifications
Experience in data analysis techniques and advanced Excel
Strong knowledge of latest E-Commerce trends and tools; experience working with Google AdWords and other paid search platforms
Strong proficiency with PowerPoint for producing reports and presentations
High level of experience in measuring and analyzing online marketing campaigns including: natural and paid search, email, affiliate, display, and social
Demonstrated communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills, required
Outstanding organizational skills, required. Ability to manage multiple complex projects in fast-changing environments
Proficiency in web analytics, required
Ability to define strategy and goals; results oriented and creative
