What does the role involve?
Welcome guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, and answering or directing inquiries; work together with office management team members to maintain a presence in reception area during regular business hours
Responsible for operating the office mailroom, including preparation, shipping, and tracking of outbound parcels; mailing outbound correspondence; sorting incoming mail; and maintaining knowledge of carrier regulations
Responsible to manage set up and break down of internal venues in preparation for meetings
Ensure effective communication and coordination of events with EMT members, office management specialists, and department team leaders for shared events
Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; evaluating new office products; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies
Ensure operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques
Work cross functionally with all departments to ensure business process continuity and consistency
Administer the work order management and facility automation software utilized to manage the corporate facilities
Work with the building owner on building related maintenance and security; manages employee identification badges and distribution process
Other duties as assigned

What you need is:
High School Diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of previous experience in a business office environment
Knowledge of office administrative procedures and experience in operating standard office equipment, at a level generally acquired through 3+ years related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel
Some analytical ability is required in order to find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work
Work requires multitasking ability as well as continual attention to detail in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to learn quickly
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Normal office and mail room conditions.
Adverse Work Conditions:
Mailroom environment subject to noise, dust, and other particles
Work with machines, tools, and equipment normally found in mailroom environment
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive reaching, bending, and climbing
Safety Equipment Required:
Must observe and abide by all safety regulations as required by Hilti and Occupational Health and Safety Standards (OSHA)
Must wear appropriate safety equipment where required (i.e. steel toe boots, back brace, etc.)
